Dermal Fillers (Lips & Perioral Area)

Dermal fillers are the main way dermatologists customize lip appearance. At Christie Clinic, injectable fillers are used to restore or enhance volume, improve shape and define the lips:

These fillers can be used to:

  • Add volume to thin lips
  • Define the vermilion border (lip outline)
  • Smooth fine lines around the mouth
  • Balance asymmetry for a more proportionate smile

Lip fillers are a very popular cosmetic option for creating fuller, more youthful lips or smoothing “smoker’s lines” around the mouth.

Injectables (Volume + Structure)

In addition to fillers, Christie Clinic’s injectables offerings include products that may be used to support lip area enhancement as part of overall facial rejuvenation — particularly if other facial structures around the mouth are being addressed.

Note: Botox® Cosmetic itself isn’t typically used in the lips for fullness, but in some cases can be used very selectively to adjust muscle movement around the mouth (“lip flip”). This would be discussed during a consultation.

While not targeted only at the lips, some cosmetic procedures improve the skin and texture around the mouth, which enhances the overall effect of lip treatments:
