The Christie Foundation will host a Summer Social on August 24th from 10am- noon at Hessel Park in Champaign. Medical professionals from Christie Clinic will be onsite to promote overall wellness, active lifestyles and health education to community members. This event is free and open to the public; all ages are welcome to attend. The Christie Foundation has paired with local organizations to run a shoe drive for children in need for back-to-school shoes and socks. The sole purpose of the Christie Foundation is to cultivate new generations of medical leaders, by offering scholarships to medical students within our community. By tying the Christie Foundation together with Christie Clinic providers and local businesses, we are continuing to build healthier children, healthier families and a healthier community for years to come.
