Christie Clinic Department of Endocrinology welcomes Yasser Haider-Badenhorst, MD, to the Department of Endocrinology at 1801 West Windsor Road in Champaign, IL. Dr. Haider-Badenhorst specializes in diabetes management, thyroid nodules and disorders, pituitary disorders and bone health.
He earned his medical degree at Dow International Medical College in Pakistan and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois Urbana, IL. During his residency, he trained at Christie Clinic, experiencing firsthand the clinic culture and level of care given to each patient. He continued his professional education at the University of Illinois- Chicago, completing his fellowship in endocrinology. Dr. Haider-Badenhorst is also fluent in English, Urdu and Hindi. He has experience working in both in-patient and out-patient settings, as well as instructor experience at different education levels.
