Christie Clinic Department of Family Medicine extends a warm welcome to Dr. Ari Pence as she joins the team. Dr. Pence provides comprehensive, integrated care for patients of all ages with a special interest in eating disorders, behavioral & mental health, gender affirming care and perinatal and post-partum mood disorders. In addition to diagnosing and treating illness, she provides preventative care including reproductive health care, routine checkups, health-risk assessments, immunizations, and screening tests.
Dr. Pence earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences and went on to attend the University of Illinois College of Medicine to receive her Doctorate in Medicine. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at Northwestern McGraw Family Medicine Residency in Chicago, IL. She is a member of the Internal Association of Eating Disorders Professionals and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
