Christie Clinic Department of Family Medicine is thrilled to welcome Raunaq S. Ratra, MD to the team of providers. Dr. Ratra will begin seeing patients at Christie Clinic in Mahomet on Commercial at the end of September. Through compassionate and efficient clinical practice, he is committed to improving patient outcomes and contributing to the health and well-being of the community.
Dr. Ratra is dedicated to preventive health, patient education and building meaningful, long-term relationships with patients of all ages and their families. With experience caring for diverse populations and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, Dr. Ratra takes a comprehensive approach to addressing each patient’s individual healthcare needs.
Dr. Ratra earned his medical degree from Aureus University School of Medicine in Aruba and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada. His medical training has also been deeply rooted in Illinois, including clinical rotations in Chicago and completion of his Family Medicine residency training in Decatur. He looks forward to continuing to serve patients and families in Central Illinois as a member of the Mahomet community.
