Why I Chose Healthcare

To me, a physician is someone who combines a vast amount of knowledge about a myriad of ailments with being a fierce patient advocate and teacher. During medical school, I worked with Internal Medicine physicians that astounded me in their ability to so intricately manage extremely complex patients with the energy and tenderness necessary to manage patients as a whole. From that experience, I knew that Internal Medicine would best satisfy my desire for an intellectually-stimulating yet patient-centered career.

Personal

I enjoy spending time with my wife, Sondra, our children, and our energetic dog, Wrigley. I also enjoy taking advantage of all that Champaign has to offer and am a passionate Illini and Cubs fan!
