Scheduling Your Foot/Ankle Surgery The ultimate date of your surgery requires coordination of both your schedule and our schedule. It is helpful to have a few dates in mind when speaking with our surgery scheduler. Our surgeons perform surgery at Champaign Surgery Center at The Fields, located at 3103 Fields South Dr., Champaign, IL, and Carle Foundation Hospital located at 611 W. Park St., Urbana, IL. Contact your health insurance company to notify them of your upcoming surgery. Our department staff will schedule a follow-up appointment for your first post-operative visit after surgery. You will be called within 24-48 hours prior to surgery to confirm the time of the operation. Please note that the operative time may change based on the hospital/surgery center schedule. If for any reason you need to cancel your surgery, please call the office at (217) 366-5418 as soon as possible. We require a notice of a minimum of 7 business days for the cancellation of your scheduled procedure. Patients that cancel/reschedule in less than 7 business days prior to their scheduled procedure, will be charged a $250 surgery cancellation fee, should the cancellation not be medically warranted.
